After the restructuring of its global sales and production organisation last year, Novomatic will continue the transformation by introducing a new structure to enhance its global operations.

A new business segment will now incorporate all departments and divisions involved in running Novomatic’s global gaming facilities.

The segment will be run by former Novomatic manager Thomas Komnacky, who will be promoted to VP Global Operations, and will report directly to Novomatic Executive Board Member, Ryszard Presch.

Komnacky joined the company in 2014 and was responsible for market analysis, strategy and business development.

He also operates as a managing director of two Novomatic subsidiaries and has played a key role in several market entries and acquisitions.

VP Global Operations, Thomas Komnacky, said: “My goal is to make a significant contribution to improving the company’s overall performance by creating even stronger networks between the subsidiaries, as well as by providing targeted guidance and support from the headquarters.”

Novomatic Executive Board Member, Ryszard Presch, adds: “The primary focus of this new structure is to create a combined, cross-divisional unit that will support and manage the international operating subsidiaries as well as coordinate between them and the headquarters.

“Thomas Komnacky is an experienced Novomatic manager who has been tasked with leading this central division; not only because he is very familiar with the Group, but because he already worked closely with the country organisations in the past.”
