As part of the agreement, BK8’s logo will feature on the front of Norwich City’s first team match and training kits during the 2021-22 season, when it will once again play in the English Premier League following promotion.
Norwich City has said a wide range of activations for supporters are lined up for release over the course of this new partnership.
To reinforce the collaboration, former Norwich City player Darren Eadie has become BK8’s brand spokesperson; he will help drive engagement both nationally and internationally.
According to a statement released by Norwich City, both brands were brought together by Outlast Sports and Entertainment.
Ben Kensell, Norwich City COO, said: “We’re delighted to welcome BK8 as our new principal partner. It is excellent that they see the value in working with Norwich City.
“BK8 will undoubtedly be a new brand for City fans; however, they’re a well-trusted name across Asia. The Premier League has an accumulative TV audience of over three billion and is broadcast into over a billion homes, a huge proportion of these Premier League fans are based in Asia."
BK8 has a strong foothold in the Asian betting market, and is hopeful of growing its brand and customer base through deals within the Premier League.
The brand also hopes it can use this deal to promote cryptocurrency to a wider audience; just last year it launched its own cryptocurrency payment gateway to support currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
