888poker celebrate success in Spain

oker have become the second largest poker network in Spain following their launch in the country earlier this month.

The new room went live on 5 June having been awarded a Spanish e-gaming license on 1 June, implementing an approved version of the 888 group’s existing software, with the network now the second biggest in the country according to poker traffic analysts Poker Scout.

888poker have unveiled a number of promotional and registration offers in Spain, including free bonus cash and daily freeroll tournaments, as well as a major advertising campaign on television and radio.

Chief operation officer of 888poker parent company 888 Holdings Itai Frieberger said: "With a well thought-out strategy, excellent migration and penetration plan, we launched last week with an exceptionally strong offering!

“The fact that we have established a number two position in market share is a great sign for our future success in Spain.”
