ts data suppliers Sportradar are to become an Associate Member of the World Lottery Association (WLA).

The WLA Executive Committee have approved the firm’s application, with the organisation’s executive director describing Sportradar as being “well known and well respected”.

Formed in 1999 through the merger of the International Association of State Lotteries and the International Association of Toto and Lotto Organisations, the WLA are a member-based group designed to advance the interests of state-authorised lotteries.

Sportradar are a long-term partner of over 30 state lotteries across four continents.

Sportradar group chief executive Carsten Koerl said: “Our membership will allow us to actively exchange experiences and to support the members in dealing with future challenges, especially with regards to an increasing number of regulated sports betting markets.”
