This state represents the eighth operational one for the operator’s sports betting product, following launches in New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado, Michigan and West Virginia.

The Virginia Lottery recently issued PointsBet, together with racetrack Colonial Downs, an official licence to offer sports wagering in Virginia.
Currently, Colonial Downs is the only licensed gaming company that’s located and operating in Virginia. The company, which is a subsidiary of California-based Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, operates Rosie’s Gaming Emporiums in Richmond, Hampton, New Kent County and Winton, Virginia, as well as the Colonial Downs Racetrack, also in New Kent Country, Virginia.
