At the sports betting operator in Poland, he takes a leading role in the development of technologies and the overall digital environment in the company.
Prior to this position, Walaszek spent 16 years in the digital media world at Onet and subsequently Ringier Axel Springer Polska.
STS Group is the largest licensed bookmaker in Poland. In addition, it operates internationally through licences in the UK and Estonia, offering a portfolio of services including sports betting, virtual sports and betting services for esports. Outside of Poland, it also manages online casinos.

The operator has recently focused on the development of its own technology platform to meet the needs of its customer.
Investment in the product portfolio and new technological solutions amounted to PLN27.1m ($6.64m) in 2020, PLN19.5m in 2019 and PLN6.5m in 2018. In addition, in 2020 STS took control of the Czech technology company Betsys, in which it holds 74% of shares.
