Exclusive: ADI Predictstreet Source Reveals Trading Numbers, Strategic Gameplan

ADI Predictstreet is the new kid on the prediction market block — its trading volume may be small, yet in exclusive comments to Gambling Insider, insiders claim it has a winning strategy

Exclusive: ADI Predictstreet Source Reveals Trading Numbers, Strategic Gameplan

Gambling Insider can reveal that ADI Predictstreet, the official prediction market of the FIFA World Cup 2026, has generated around 126,000 trades in its first 18 days since launch, “demonstrating early consumer demand despite the platform’s nascency,” according to a source familiar with the matter.

Rather than competing for end users, ADI Predictstreet is betting that owning the infrastructure and partnership layer is the path to long-term value creation,” the insider said.

As reported by multiple outlets, ADI Predictstreet has paid FIFA $150 million for the partnership deal. That may be an eye-watering amount, but the FIFA World Cup is the largest sporting event in the world and probably the largest media event of any kind.

FIFA World Cup is a 6 Billion Viewers Global Opportunity for ADI Predictstreet

The 2022 World Cup held in Qatar engaged 5 billion viewers globally, according to a FIFA official audit released after the tournament wrapped up.

FIFA says that matches in the 2026 showdown are breaking broadcasting records, leading to estimates of global audiences topping 6 billion.

Although 126,000 is a modest trading volume – and the notional value of the trades was not revealed – those dismissing ADI Predictstreet may be missing the bigger picture – its customer acquisition journey is still at the top of the funnel.

In a nutshell, as our source put it, there is something remarkable going on here – “a company that emerged almost overnight landed a marquee FIFA partnership and has since delivered the scale and geographic reach it took rivals years to build.”

Kalshi and Polymarket have generated trading volumes of $1 billion and $4 billion, respectively, for the World Cup Winner market alone.

The USA vs Belgium match drew a record 42 million viewers across US media outlets. Fox’s coverage attracted 30 million.

Partnership with Kalshi is ‘Long Term’

Without doubt, ADI Predictstreet has chalked up some impressive strategic partnership milestones. Perhaps the most impressive is the recently announced tie-up with top prediction market Kalshi.

Our source described it as a “long-term partnership” with Kalshi that is aimed at “accelerating ADI Predictstreet’s international growth strategy and creating the foundation for future technology and product innovation”.

Gambling Insider reported yesterday that Kalshi confirmed it is not, at this stage, investing in ADI Predictstreet’s blockchain settlement system or opening up order routing. Still, it sounds very much like there will be, or are, discussions in the works on tech and product collaboration.

Those connections may explain how ADI Predictstreet has assembled an impressive array of partners to support its international expansion.

In addition to Kalshi, ADI Predictstreet also has partnerships with Fanatics Markets, BetConstruct, Matchbook, DAZN, and more, rapidly expanding distribution across North America, Europe, and other international markets”, says our source close to the company’s thinking.

Prediction Market Industry Annualized Volume Estimated at $500 Billion

Our unnamed insider said that regulatory approval in Gibraltar would allow ADI Predictstreet to “expand beyond football into broader prediction markets, including additional sports, culture, entertainment, and more”.

It is not clear whether the company’s broadening of market scope will include hot-button categories such as geopolitics and elections.

A Macquarie note issued Tuesday and shared with Gambling Insider estimates Kalshi prediction market (PM) volume has exploded 75% month on month, thanks in great part to the FIFA World Cup:

“PM trading volumes reached new highs in June, driven by the FIFA World Cup. Kalshi generated ~$33 billion of notional volume, +75% from May’s ~$18 billion, while combined industry volume was $50 billion-plus.

“On an annualized basis, June’s volume implies a market running at >$500 billion annually, highlighting the rapid scaling of the category and reinforcing sports as the leading use case for prediction markets (~50%). Kalshi maintained its position as the clear volume leader.”
