He began the role on 1 February 2022, and together with the C-level team will be “an essential part to Hero Gaming’s success as the company continues striving in achieving excellence and upping its game to the next level,” a statement from the group read.
Jonker has over 20 years of experience within the digital entertainment industry, as well as previous experience in managing international teams.
“The combination of his experience, his leadership qualities and culture fit has made Patrick the ideal fit for us as a company for our next phase of growth and we very much look forward to having him in his new role,” said Georg Westin, Hero Gaming Founder & Chairman of the Board.
Jonker commented: “I am very happy to say that I will be joining Hero Gaming as its CEO as of February 2022 and use my experience to take the company into the next phase.
