New safeguard available for iGaming companies with new iDenfy AML screen

Lithuanian ID verification and fraud prevention company iDenfy has announced the incorporation of its new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening.

New safeguard available for iGaming companies with new iDenfy AML screen

This new system is able to notify websites when any AML risk database hit occurs during the identity verification process, using ongoing monitoring technology.

IDenfy claims its new system is designed to minimise fines and simplify compliance with AML laws. The company hopes its new technology will help widen its sphere of interest and entice more companies to use its services.

Moreover, iDenfy sees the new system as a means to extend the company’s reputation, claiming any company seeking to use iDenfy services would be partnering with a ‘transparent, professional organisation’.

And iDenfy CEO, Domantas Ciulde, hopes that his company’s security services can “establish efficient security measures for various industries,” providing a blanket of protection on a range of company sites, including iGaming web pages.

IDenfy draws from a number of institutions to fill its at-risk database, including Interpol, Europol: Europe Most Wanted, the FBI and information from Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs); persons with prominent public positions, which makes them immediately susceptible to bribery and corruption.

The company claims that the multiple databases employed in its screening service reduce the chances of detecting false-positive threats, all while scanning potential threat entities in seconds. IDenfy ascribes its ability to do this through advanced data and analysis techniques, such as by utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI).

AI technology is also employed to ensure the software is able to constantly monitor, with Ciulde hoping that monitoring will allow the organisation to “maintain a high, consistent reputation.”

Lastly, iDenfy professes to use an ‘ongoing monitoring approach’, with new regulations being frequently published and information on political figureheads changing regularly. This approach allows iDenfy to keep its software information up-to-date.
