Pragmatic Play’s portfolio of slot games will be made available to players in the region through a multi-vertical delivery deal, and will include the titles Cleopatra, Gates of Olympus and Big Bass Bonanza.

The company’s live casino services, including blackjack and roulette, will also be on offer, and will be supplemented by more specialised contemporary gaming titles.

Pragmatic Play CBDO Yossi Barzely said: “ChampionBet’s expansion across Central Africa positions Pragmatic Play perfectly and its brand is the ideal vehicle for our growth ambitions in the region. We’re providing a strong package of content which has become indispensable to African operators, and this is another positive step forward for our business objectives.”

ChampionBet operates a number of retail outlets across Ghana, Uganda and Ethiopia, alongside a recently launched sportsbook and slot game service in Ghana.

ChampionBet CEO Pavel Vaniš said: “We’re delighted to provide Pragmatic Play games to our customers. We believe that they deserve the best casino experience across all verticals and with the new addition of Live Casino, the ChampionBet offering will elevate our players’ gaming to deliver a product range they’ll return to time and time again.”

In April 2022 Pragmatic Play launched a new sportsbook. Delivered through a single API, the platform offers markets and competitions, with data from top leagues including the EPL, NBA and NFL.

The sportsbook came as the company’s fifth vertical, following on from its slots, live casino, bingo and virtual sports services.
