EveryMatrix set to go live in Ontario after securing licence approval

EveryMatrix has obtained licence approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), allowing the iGaming platform provider to enter the market under new regulations designed to ensure player safety.

EveryMatrix will distribute its proprietary content in the region, as well as its own in-house developed technology. The content, including titles from the company's Spearhead and Armadillo Studios, will be delivered in sportsbooks and casinos by operators looking to break ground in the burgeoning Ontario market.

Combined, the two studios offer over 100 games, including North America-themed titles such as The Lioness, which features MMA champion, Amanda Nunes.

EveryMatrix President of Americas Erik Nyman said: “Obtaining the registration approval from AGCO is an important milestone for us in our North American expansion.

“We are very excited to provide our products to existing American customers and other operators entering Canada’s largest jurisdiction.”

Final standards for online betting and gaming in Ontario were published in September 2021. They included changes to advertising and integrity rules and a range of restrictions on game design, including a ban on autoplay functions.

In July, EveryMatrix signed a turnkey solution deal with German operator bet-at-home.

The turnkey solution included a sportsbook, casino platform, player management, payments module and affiliate software, with the deal covering all of bet-at-home’s licensed territories.

Additionally, the deal saw bet-at-home replace its proprietary platform with EveryMatrix’s tech stack.

The same month saw EveryMatrix pen a distribution agreement with 888casino, as the company aims for further expansion in the US.
