Earlier this year DraftKings and High 5 Games announced a partnership that had a selection of High 5 Games go live in Michigan.
The deal with High 5 came prior to DraftKings teaming up with UK charity BetBlocker in an effort of promoting safer play technology. The partnership with the UK-based charity focused on promoting and spreading awareness of safer play technology.
BetBlocker specialises in providing free software that allows users to set fully customisable gaming restrictions across all their devices.
At the time of the partnership, Chrissy Thurmond, Senior Director of Responsible Gaming at DraftKings, said: “BetBlocker’s contributions to safer play are commendable, and DraftKings is pleased to team up with this enterprising and disruptive not-for-profit that is advancing responsible gaming in a comprehensive and consumer-friendly way.”
Most recently, DraftKings reported revenue of $466m for Q2, an increase of 57% compared to $298m during the same period in 2021. At he same time, however, the company recorded a net loss of $217.1m for the quarter.
