The Resort Wallet with IGTPay combination was named "Product Innovation of the Year" at the 2021 Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas, with the supplier claiming this new deal puts Vegas at the "epicentre of the cashless gaming revolution."
Via the STN Cash app, IGT's technology – including the IGT Advantage casino management system – will be present at six of Station Casinos' properties.
Advantages billed by the provider include players no longer requiring a physical boarding pass card during slot play, as well as "quick, convenient funding of play" straight from a mobile app.
Tom Mikulich, Station Casinos SVP of Innovation, said: "Our IGT-powered STN Cash app is deployed across our entire Nevada enterprise, and has introduced efficiencies and player conveniences that support Station Casinos' growth and profitability targets."
Meanwhile, Nick Khin, IGT COO, Global Gaming, added: "It's exciting to see Station Casinos at the forefront of the on-premise cashless gaming revolution by powering its STN Cash app with the Resort Wallet and IGTPay modules of the IGT Advantage casino management system."

IGT's Q2 report, meanwhile, saw revenue fall 2% year-on-year, even though its quarterly total still topped $1bn.
