He will oversee and advance the group’s diversification strategy by expanding its digital platforms organically and through acquisitions, including driving growth and innovation through its sports betting and iGaming platform BetMGM.

Fritz previously served as Head of Gaming for IAC, and recently led MGM Resorts’ acquisition of LeoVegas. He will now be responsible for the group’s growth strategies in digital gaming, including organic growth and potential M&A activities. He will serve as a member of the company’s Executive Committee, and will become a member of the Board of Directors for BetMGM and Chairman of the Board of LeoVegas.

Beginning his career at McKinsey & Company, Fritz previously led global strategy and expansion plans for multinational groups, including IAC, TripAdvisor and Expedia. He holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Earlier this week, BetMGM premiered a new ad spot starring hockey icons Wayne Gretzky and Connor McDavid, scheduled to run throughout the 2022-23 National Hockey League (NHL) season.
