AEG Presents enters first-of-its-kind agreement with Tipico
Tipico, a sports betting company hosting online sports betting in New Jersey and Colorado, has entered a multi-year partnership with AEG Presents this week.
The agreement, brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, will see Tipico become the exclusive sponsor in the sportsbook category of multiple AEG Presents owned and operated music venues in Ohio and surrounding areas.
This is the first partnership of its kind between AEG Presents and Tipico, and also the first time that AEG Presents has partnered with a company in the sportsbook industry.
AEG Global Partnerships Managing Director Andrew Klein commented: “We are very excited to welcome Tipico as our exclusive sponsor in the sportsbook category at our music venues in Ohio.
“Together, we look forward to continuing to bring unparalleled live music and entertainment experiences as well as unique on-site perks to the local residents we both serve across the Ohio region.”
Tipico has headquarters in Hoboken, New Jersey, providing odds for the USA Today Network, and is the iGaming provider for Gannett.
To begin the partnership, both Tipico and AEG Presents will launch a ticket giveaway program with $10,000 worth of tickets for upcoming concerts at participating Ohio venues in December.
Tipico North America CEO Adrian Vella added: “Our research revealed that our customers are almost as passionate about attending concerts and music festivals as they are about watching and betting on their favorite sports.
“Our new customers can enjoy exclusive benefits at venues such as KEMBA Live! and Agora Theatre.”
Tipico is also set to become a presenting partner of the Best Bet Concert Series, which takes place annually at select AEG Presents venues.
