Light & Wonder has signed a deal with operator Grand Casino Luzern in Switzerland.

This is Light & Wonder's first business venture within the Swiss iGaming industry, with the Swiss Federal Gaming Board (SFGB) stating that the market produced gross gaming revenue of $250m for 2022.

Now, through OpenGaming, the online mycasino brand of Grand Casino Luzern will have access to content from Light & Wonder and its partner program studios.

Some of the titles that are already accessible include 88 Fortunes, Raging Rhino and Spartacus. More titles will be released in the upcoming months.

Magdalena Podhorska-Okolow, MD Europe at Light & Wonder, said: “The regulated online market in Switzerland has been performing very well. We are thrilled to be making our market entry with Grand Casino Luzern, a strong brand in Switzerland with a player base that appreciates content with land-based roots.”

Wolfgang Bliem, CEO of Grand Casino Luzern, said: “Partnering with Light & Wonder and gaining access to household titles that players already love on the land-based side, allowing us to deliver the best content available within the regulated Swiss market.

“We look forward to rolling out the content exclusively on mycasino as we bring in Light & Wonder to the online market for the very first time delivering new worlds of play to our audience.”

Recently, Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort signed an agreement with Light & Wonder to use the latter’s systems.
