GiG CEO Richard Brown is to step down from his role by the end of 2023 and the search for a new platform CEO has been initiated.
GiG's Board of Directors has agreed for Brown to resign from the role as of 31 December 2023.
This decision follows a strategic review in February, which had the intention to split the company into two separate groups, GiG Media and Platform & Sportsbook. GiG Media will continue under its current executive leadership and a search for a new CEO for Platform & Sportsbook has commenced.
Brown has worked as CEO at the company for four years and has eight years of experience at GiG in total, having worked as Managing Director, Chief Digital Officer and COO during his years at GiG.
Petter Nylander, Chairman of the Board of Directors at GiG, commented: “Richard has done a tremendous job with GiG over the years and the company is in a very good position driving shareholder value going forward. We are pleased that Richard has agreed to stay until the end of the year to secure a smooth transition.”
