Statscore to provide data for Tamil Nadu Premier League

Sports data provider Statscore has announced the addition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) to its cricket coverage.
Statscore is a Polish sports data and statistics provider that has a global team of scouts who cover more than 10,000 live events per month to deliver data in real time.
Statscore announced the addition following the success of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season where there was a high engagement with the sport from cricket fans and bettors. Statscore covered all 74 match-ups of the 2023 season.
The TNPL is one of India’s most prestigious regional cricket tournaments and is held annually in Tamil Nadu. This regional tournament showcases teams representing a variety of cities and districts within the state.
Statscore’s coverage of the TNPL will include: low-latency (fast speed) TV-based coverage, sports data and statistics based on key incidents, scores, strike rates, ball-by-ball updates, boundaries, run rates, wicket updates and more facilitated through a network of scouts.
The success of the IPL has sparked the need for more cricket data, not only in the Indian subcontinent but also in other markets worldwide such as Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
