Fertitta Entertainment appoints Maurice Wooden as President of Luxury Hotel Development
Wooden began his casino resort career in 1987.
Fertitta Entertainment has appointed Maurice Wooden as its new President of Luxury Hotel Development.
The operator is a conglomerate of restaurants, real estate, entertainment, hospitality and the gaming industry.
Wooden has worked through various leadership roles at luxury casino resorts such as Beau Rivage Casino Resort in Biloxi and The Mirage Las Vegas.
Wooden began his casino resort career in 1987 as a supervisor at Golden Nugget Las Vegas. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of senior-level leadership positions, eventually working his way up to being President of Golden Nugget Las Vegas.
Most recently, Wooden served as President and COO of Hospitality for the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas properties. Wooden has held several Board positions, including Board of Wynn Macau, Board of the Las Vegas Convention Authority and Chaired the Compensation Committee. He was also the Vice Chairman of Las Vegas Events.
