Air Dice receives Swedish B2B gaming licence

All gaming software developers must have a licence by 1 July.

The Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) has granted a B2B licence to game developer Air Dice Group.

This is in accordance with the rule that states by 1 July, all developers of gaming software must have a licence for the Swedish market.

Erkki Nikunen, Partner & CBDO of Air Dice, said: “We are delighted to have attained our Swedish market B2B licence. Our business continues to expand across multiple regulated jurisdictions and the Swedish licence is a testament to the hard work and exemplary standards of our whole team, technology and focus as a company.

“We look forward to having our games portfolio such as includes Wandering Devourer, Neon Shifter and many more in our game portfolio available within one of Europe’s leading regulated markets.”

MGA Games recently received a licence from Swedish gambling regulator Spelinspektionen.

MGA Games has over 100 games in its portfolio including Captain Nemo, Ice Queen, Jade Goddess and Circus Mystery.

Meanwhile, a distribution agreement was signed between game developer Air Dice Group and Malta-regulated and licenced Rootz.

Victor Borg Barthet, Director and CEO of Air Dice Services Malta, said: “We are delighted to provide Rootz with our games portfolio that includes Neon Shifter and Wandering Devourer.

“In a short space of five years, Rootz and its consumer-facing casino brands have leveraged a platform focusing on using technology to deliver a superior player experience. We look forward to feedback from Rootz’s casino players to our games, which we are confident they will enjoy.”

Additionally, in March 2023, Air Dice Group appointed Rocio Moitino to work as the sales director for markets in Latin America.
