Operator Betsson has announced a sponsorship partnership with Argentine football team, Club Atletico Boca Juniors. The sponsorship will run until the end of 2024.
Betsson will now be the main sponsor of Boca Juniors, starting from 29 June 2023. The agreement was signed by Jorge Amor Ameal, President of Boca Juniors, Jesper Svensson and Ronni Hartvig, CEO and CCO of Betsson Group, and Maximiliano Bellio, Betsson’s Country Manager for Argentina.
The Boca jersey will make its debut on 29 June, when it plays Monagas on the last day of the Copa Libertadores de America group stage. The jersey will feature Betsson’s brand logo on the upper front of the men’s and women’s first-division football shirts for all local and international matches.
Betsson’s CEO, Jesper Svensson, said: “Boca is unquestionably the most esteemed team in South American football. It has been home to legendary players like Diego Maradona, who alongside other remarkable players, has elevated Boca to an iconic team globally.
