MightyTips, a website that offers betting guidance, has announced a collaboration with Blackburn Rovers Football Club and its captain Lewis Travis.
Blackburn Rovers, which narrowly missed the promotion play-off berth last season when it finished seventh in the Championship, announced that MightyTips will sponsor Travis for the whole 2023–24 season.
Travis joined Blackburn in 2014 as a Liverpool academy player and became a regular member of the first team in 2019–20 before taking on the role of club captain in 2022.
He signed a long-term contract that will keep him at Ewood Park until 2026 in the same year.
Eugene Ravdin, MightyTips Communications and Marketing Manager, said: "We are honoured to be associated with Blackburn Rovers and Lewis Travis. Just like we strive to deliver high-quality football content, he is dedicated to giving his best for the team and for the fans every time he takes the pitch.”
On 5 August, Travis participated fully in a 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion at home and contributed an assist for the game's first goal.
Blackburn Rovers recently disclosed that it and operator Spreadex had reached an agreement on a three-year cooperation in July.
Spreadex will have signed advertisements in the Jack Walker Stand as well as digital advertisements at Ewood Park as part of the partnership.
