PrizePicks has appointed two new members to its senior leadership team, Elisa Richardson as the new VP of Strategic Communications and Brian Huss, as the new VP of Innovation.

Adam Wexler, PrizePicks Founder and CEO, said: "Elisa is joining the company at a crucial time and her expertise in defining a corporate narrative will be invaluable as the daily fantasy sports industry garners national media attention and PrizePicks seizes rapid growth opportunities.

"Brian will infuse experience and creativity into ensuring that PrizePicks is optimally positioned to be a long-time leader in the space. Both Elisa and Brian are incredibly valuable additions to our senior leadership team."

Prior to her appointment, Richardson was a member of the Forbes Communications Council, as well as the Director and Head of Communications and Public Relations at BetMGM.

At PrizePicks, she will be responsible for communications and strategic positioning, responsible gaming messaging and media relations.

On her appointment, Richardson said: "PrizePicks is undoubtedly disrupting the daily fantasy sports space and I'm thrilled to help hone the company's narrative in an ever-evolving sports entertainment landscape.”

Huss joins PrizePicks from Buzzer, where he held the role of VP of Products, with additional experience at FanDuel as the Product VP of Fantasy Games, Free-to-Play and Faceoffs.

As VP of Innovation, Huss will focus on the PrizePicks platform and library of skill-based fantasy games.

As for Huss, he commented: "Over the past few years, I've watched PrizePicks marry fun, challenging gameplay with an intuitive user interface. I couldn't be more excited for the challenge of building on that success by helping to introduce a host of new skill-based products and games."

Recently, PrizePicks was granted its licence to expand into Indiana, meaning it can offer its daily fantasy sports offerings to players in the state.
