Foxwoods to open new Pequot Woodlands Casino venue

The new casino will be 50,000 square-feet.

Foxwoods Resort Casino has announced it will be opening a new venue at the Grand Pequot Concourse. The new venue will be called Pequot Woodlands Casino and will be open to the public on 29 August.

The casino will include over 430 new slot machines, a new slot limit room with 130 machines, 24 table games, a bar, casino cage and a 40-seat slot bar named Truth Searcher; all in a space of 50,000 square feet.

Recently, Foxwoods held a grand opening for Michelin star chef Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant which opened on 15 July. 

The restaurant is situated within the Grand Pequot Tower and seats 260 guests. This is the famous chef’s sixth Hell’s Kitchen location, with others in Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Washington DC and Southern California.

Foxwoods has also announced that Wahlburgers will be making its way to Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard in late summer.

Wahlburgers was launched in 2011 and as of 2023, there are over 90 Wahlburgers locations across the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
