LeoVegas Group, part of MGM Resorts International, has completed its acquisition of game developer Push Gaming.
In its statement, LeoVegas emphasised that all Push Gaming employees would be kept on as part of the acquisition and will continue to develop games under the Push Gaming name.
The developer will remain as its own entity under LeoVegas, with Co-Founders Winston Lee and James Marshal staying on as COO and CEO.
The portfolio from Push Gaming includes titles such as Goat Getter, Rat King, Razor Returns, Crystal Catcher, Dino P.D. and Wild Swarm.
LeoVegas has stated that it will contribute proprietary technology for the Push Gaming team to use during development.
James Marshall, Push Gaming CEO, said: “This is a huge achievement for us and we're excited to take this next step with LeoVegas Group and MGM Resorts.
“We have a talented team whose passion and dedication has been key in helping us to reach this significant milestone.
“Our portfolio is constantly expanding and we continue to grow in line with our long term strategy of bringing the best in entertainment to new players, new markets and cementing our place as a true industry leader.”
The initial announcement that LeoVegas has agreed to acquire the majority stake in Push Gaming was made on 1 May.
This would mark the first major investment by LeoVegas since MGM acquired the company in September 2022.
In more exciting news, LeoVegas CEO Gustaf Hagman will return to the GI Huddle soon, discussing everything from Push Gaming to BetMGM's UK launch.
