Win Systems appoints Juan Mc Ewan to boost its African presence

Provider of technology for the gaming industry, Win Systems, has announced the appointment of Juan Mc Ewan as Sales Manager of the Gaming Division in Africa. 

Mc Ewan is a South African, based in Johannesburg, who graduated from the University of Witwatersrand. While at university, Mc Ewan studied psychology and marketing; which he began in 2011 and graduated in 2016.

The new sales manager started his career as a Marketing Executive and Key Account Manager for Crazy Slots between October 2011 and August 2017. During this timeframe he also part-owned a consultancy firm from 2010-2022 called JKR’s Consultancy. 

Prior to being appointed to this position, from 2017-2013, Mc Ewan worked as a Sales Manager at Light & Wonder in South Africa. During this role Mc Ewan said he was, “responsible for developing strategic relationships with casino and alternate gaming operators, placing slot machines and table equipment throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.”

Commenting on Ewan’s appointment, Eric Benchimol, CEO of Win Systems, said: "We know that in order to continue growing in the different African markets, it is necessary to have trained professionals who are willing to go further.
