Playtech partners with IDVerse
Digital ID verification company, IDVerse (previously known as OCR Labs Global) has partnered with software supplier, Playtech.
By partnering with IDVerse, Playtech will now use its identity verification technology within its platform, with the hope of keeping players safe and minimising fraudulent behaviour with its new verification system.
IDVerse can verify new players in seconds using its automated AI solution just by using customers’ faces and smartphones.
The ID technology works for over 16,000 document types in over 220 countries, in 142 languages and typesets without the burden of human intervention.
With IDVerse’s technology, Playtech can now instantly verify new players from anywhere, on any device, without any human intervention and, as a result, Playtech thinks by installing this technology it will ‘reduce drop-off with near-instant results.’
The technology uses generative AI to protect against discrimination based on race, age and gender. It has achieved 99.99% accuracy in independent lab testing.
