Bet-at-home has launched in the German market, with EveryMatrix building the company a custom-made platform to ensure it meets the strict regulations in place.
Germany is known for its strict regulations for online gambling and EveryMatrix is a company that specialises in helping gambling companies meet those requirements.
As part of the agreement, EveryMatrix will custom-build its products and integration processes for Bet-at-home.de to be facilitated for the German market. This includes the launch of OddsMatrix sportsbook and a turnkey solution.
The turnkey solution covers the casino platform, player management, payments module and affiliate software, all of which are designed to improve Bet-at-home.de's operation in terms of revenue and efficiency.
A key aspect of this achievement was EveryMatrix's platform unit, GamMatrix, which purpose-built multiple new microservices to adhere to Germany's compliance requirements. These services addressed crucial aspects such as responsible gambling limits, multi-wallet support, taxation and legal compliance.
Bet-at-home's launch in Germany followed the suspension of its licence in the UK in July 2022. The UK Gambling Commission suspended its licence due to concerns about social responsibility and anti-money laundering procedures.
As a result, Bet-at-home chose to withdraw from the UK market, ceasing customer registration and betting facilities while allowing existing customers to withdraw their funds.
