Digital payment company Koin has appointed Scott Carcillo as its new CCO. Carcillo, known for his experience in the gaming and payments industries, previously served as the CIO for Wynn Resorts.
During his tenure there, Carcillo's teams were in charge of revenue management strategies and the technological architecture of Wynn's properties in Macau and Las Vegas.
Carcillo's professional history includes leadership roles at Merchant Link (later acquired by Shift4) and FreedomPay LLC, where he integrated technologies into markets while expanding client portfolios.
The appointment of Carcillo at Koin is seen as a strategic move to drive the company's expansion efforts, particularly within the gaming industry. His role will focus on implementing overarching business development strategies and cultivating key partnerships.

Koin's recent collaboration with Baldini's Casino in Northern Nevada marked the next step in the company's pursuit of cashless solutions. The partnership enabled patrons at Baldini's Casino to access Koin's mobile wallet, aiming to offer versatile funding options and reshape cashless wagering experiences in the region.
Founded in 2021 by Gary Ellis, Koin introduced a fully integrated financial wallet that provides customers with digital funding avenues, including bank transfers and Marker Trax digital credit.
