Light & Wonder has appointed Michael Marchetti to its Board of Directors.
Before the appointment, Marchetti was the Director of SciPlay Corporation, which was acquired by Light & Wonder in October 2023.
Marchetti was also previously the CEO of Buffalo Studios, Co-Founder and Board Member of Little Labs, the SVP and GM of Pogo, Social Games & Mobile at Electronic Arts (EA).
He currently works as a CFO and Executive Committee Member at Age of Learning, with his appointment at Light & Wonder effective from 15 January 2024.
This position will undergo a standard re-election at the annual meeting held by Light & Wonder later in the year.

Marchetti graduated from Brooklyn College with a BA in Political Science and Philosophy, and later on from Brooklyn Law School.
On his appointment, Marchetti said: “I’m excited to join the Light & Wonder Board at this time.

In its Q3 report, Light & Wonder revealed a significant improvement in net income, growing annually by 300% to $80m and an even bigger increase from Q2 2023, rising by 1,500%.
