Richard Flint, a key figure on the board since March 2020, has opted not to seek re-election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting scheduled for 1 May 2024.

Flint's departure marks the end of an era as he had been an integral part of the Board following the merger that shaped Flutter into the company it is today.

His journey began with his role as Executive Chair of Sky Betting & Gaming, a position he held until October 2019. During his tenure, he served as CEO for a decade, leading the company through various milestones until its acquisition by The Stars Group in 2018.

John Bryant, Chair of the Group, expressed gratitude for Flint's contributions, stating: "The Board wish to thank Richard for the considerable value and strategic insights he has brought to Flutter during his tenure and acknowledge his tremendous contribution to the development of the Sky Bet business since its inception in 2001. We wish him success in the future."

The Annual General Meeting in May will be a pivotal moment for Flutter as it welcomes new leadership and bids farewell to an influential figure in its corporate journey.

This news comes after Flutter Entertainment announced US listing and Dublin delisting plans at the end of 2023 in an attempt to streamline its operations and minimise regulatory complications.
