The Venetian Resort Las Vegas has revealed plans to relocate its existing poker room to a new venue within the Grand Canal Shoppes this summer.

The decision to move the poker room aims to accommodate an expansion of facilities and improve the overall gaming experience for patrons.

The new poker room, set to span 14,000 square feet across Level 2 of the Grand Canal Shoppes, will house 50 tables, making it the largest poker room on the Strip. This move allows for an increase in seating capacity and provides an opportunity to introduce upgraded amenities.

The expanded space will feature various amenities aimed at improving player comfort and convenience. These include self-serve Coca-Cola soda fountains and coffee stations, online ordering and delivery from Grand Lux dining options, USB and USB-C charging ports at every seat, TVs throughout the venue, dedicated restrooms and kiosks for the resort's loyalty program, Venetian Rewards and sports betting operated by William Hill.

Danny Ruiz, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas Chief Gaming Officer, stated: “The expansion of the poker room is a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts of reimagining the gaming experience at The Venetian Resort. The room was designed to provide an elevated playing experience and everything from design details to enhancements were made with the players in mind.”

The new location offers convenient access to The Palazzo self-parking garage and proximity to additional dining options, including Miznon and Mott 32, within the Grand Canal Shoppes.

The expanded poker room is reported to continue offering cash games and host the DeepStack poker tournament series. Additionally, it's reported that a dedicated streaming room will be introduced, allowing players to coordinate vlogging sessions and stream tournament final tables and cash games.

Tommy LaRosa, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas Director of Poker Operations, said: “We’re making an investment in our players and curating the amenities based on their feedback. We can’t wait to unveil the new room this summer and show why the Venetian Poker Room is and continues to provide an unparalleled poker experience.”

In November 2023, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas hosted its inaugural Formula 1 2023 event, which transformed the city streets into a racecourse from between 16-18 November.
