Texas Lottery Commission extends contract with IGT

IGT

texassign
has signed a six-year contract extension with the Texas Lottery Commission to handle supplier services needs.

The extension continues IGT’s tenure as service provider to the lottery operator with lottery systems, data centres, retail provisions, marketing support and customer reporting functions.

The Texas Lottery has been an IGT customer since its creation in 1992 and the extension will see IGT as the principal solutions provider through to August 2026.

Jay Gendron, Senior Vice President, WLA North America Lottery commented on the extension: “We welcome the opportunity to extend our longstanding partnership with the Texas Lottery. The Texas Lottery is a highly-regarded organisation raising more than $25 billion for good causes since it began selling lottery tickets in 1992. We look forward to continuing to support the Texas Lottery over the next decade and help them to maximise contributions to Texas’ public education and veterans’ programs.”

Winston Krause, Texas Lottery Commission Chairman, said: “This is good government and a testament to the Lottery’s strong contract monitoring and compliance work. The contract extension positions us to continue to produce record revenue for Texas education and veterans while being smart, responsible stewards of state funds.”
