Sports Information Services (SIS) has appointed Peter Camden as its Competitive Gaming Product Manager, with Camden set to lead the growth of SIS' Competitive Gaming product line.
With over 20 years of experience in the sportsbook industry, Camden brings notable expertise to his new role. He has previously led sportsbook product development at GIMO, where he oversaw the launch of a global in-house sportsbook and managed the migration of operations in over 15 countries to the new platform.
Camden's background also includes senior trading roles at BetFirst and Mybet. His appointment comes at an exciting time for SIS, following the signing of a global distribution deal for its Competitive Gaming portfolio with Genius Sports.
The Competitive Gaming product features SIS' H2H Global Gaming League, offering operators continuous content from 150,000+ events annually in eSoccer and eBasketball. Camden's appointment coincides with the expansion of the product in anticipation for growth in the US market.
Adam Conway, Head of Competitive Gaming at SIS, expressed excitement about Camden's appointment, stating: “We are delighted to welcome Peter to SIS. His knowledge and skills will only strengthen our Competitive Gaming offering as we continue to make positive strides with our industry-leading product.”
In response, Camden remarked: “I am delighted to be joining SIS and specifically the Competitive Gaming division.”
He emphasised the company's commitment to providing operators and bettors with engaging content in eBasketball and eSoccer, expressing eagerness to enhance the product further.
Earlier collaborations that saw SIS grow and enhance their gaming products included BetBazaar, PGR and extending coverage rights for Spanish horse-racing.
