Sports Information Services (SIS) has announced the extension of its partnership with Asociación de Hipodromos Españoles, which allows the provider to display Spanish horseracing events for the next three years.

With 90 group contests currently in the calendar, SIS has retained the rights to display up to 500 annual meetings. Through this partnership extension, SIS will continue to display horseracing events from six racetracks across the nation, including; San Sebastian, Dos Hermanas, Sanlúcar, Hipódromo de la Zarzuela, Pineda and Son Pardo Y Manacor.

Rafael Marquez Ojea, President of Asociación de Hipodromos Españoles, spoke on the partnership: “Since 2019, SIS has been an invaluable partner in taking our races to new audiences worldwide. Extending our partnership with SIS made strategic sense as we look to further strengthen our presence within the global betting industry and ensure greater visibility for our compelling schedule of races.”

Through extending this collaboration, SIS also diversifies the range of its 24/7 betting portfolio. In January, SIS further expanded its global footprint and customer base by striking two additional deals overseas – with agreements to showcase horse racing events in Poland, and a further collaboration with the Korea Racing Authority which features 202 horseracing events annually.

Discussing this latest partnership in Spain, Conall McSorley, Head of Racing at SIS, said: “The Spanish market is very important at SIS, and horse racing from across the country has been an integral part of our live racing offering as it has grown in quality.”
