LatAm-based payment processor PayRetailers has announced plans to expand its operations into Africa, with plans across four different countries on the continent.
The company has affirmed its plans to activate its payment processing functions for customers in Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia.
As of May, operators in the four named nations will be able to utilise PayRetailers for their online users – deepening the organisation’s footprint and offering potential for expansion within its partnership portfolio.
PayRetailers CEO Juan Pablo Jutgla spoke on the latest developments, stating: “We recognise the immense potential and significance of venturing into these dynamic markets. Each new addition to our market coverage is a gateway into untapped opportunities and strengthened partnerships, ensuring our sustained growth and global relevance.
"Our imminent expansion into additional countries across West, North and Southern Africa underscores our commitment to empowering our clients and connecting them with diverse consumer bases across the continent.”
PayRetailers is not the only company to harness the potential of the African continent of late, with 3 Oaks Gaming partnering with Supabets in South Africa earlier this month.
Super Group also partly attributed its strong Q1 results to its growing operations in Africa, with the operator revealing a revenue rise of 12% last week.
