Paddy Power has launched its latest marketing campaign to give five fans the chance to win tickets to the Euros.
The winners will be taken to England’s opening match against Serbia by a VIP chartered jet, along with three of their friends respectively.
Paddy Power Spokesperson, Rachael Kane, said: "As we hurtle towards the Euros, England remain firm favourites to win the 2024 tournament outright.
“If they succeed it will be their first major tournament win since the 1966 World Cup.”
The penalty shootout will take place on 8 June at Leyton Orient Football Club’s Brisbane Road stadium.
Kane continued: "But they’ve lost seven out of nine penalty shootouts in major tournament finals.
“So, it feels only fitting that we put our potential passengers through their paces if they want to land a spot on Paddy’s exclusive jet.
“It doesn’t get fairer than that."
There will be several terms and conditions that entrants will need to be aware of, such as being over the age of 18 and registering in advance through the website.
Kane concluded: “We’re kicking off the Euros party a couple of weeks early to find England’s greatest penalty-takers.
“Once we’ve found them and sent footage of their technique straight to St. George’s Park so Southgate and Co. can take notes, we’ll bring our lucky winners on a trip of a lifetime to Gelsenkirchen which we’re reliably informed is somewhere near Düsseldorf.”
The campaign is announced only a few days since its original Euro 2024 one was scrapped, following complaints that it featured Boris Johnson in a polarising manner.
