Konami Gaming Inc. of North America has announced the appointment of two sales leadership roles.
Chris Rowe was appointed as VP of North American Game Sales, while Shane Thompson was appointed as Director of Sales, corporate accounts.
Rowe has been in the gaming sector for 20 years, with executive management and sales leadership experience across Asia, Latin America, Europe and Africa. In his current role, Rowe will be leading the growth of game sales in the United States and Canada.
Thompson was part of Konami’s game sales team from 2020 before his current appointment. As Director of Sales, his main responsibilities will be managing and developing business relationships with key corporate casino organisations along with continued focus on Canada. Prior to his employment with Konami, Thompson was the Regional Marketing Specialist for Caesars Entertainment; a role he held from November 2016 to April 2018. His career spans over a decade.
“For years, Chris Rowe has cultivated an outstanding leadership ability to strengthen customer relationships and achieve growth objectives, throughout vastly diverse global markets,” said Jay Bertsch, SVP and Chief Commercial Officer at Konami Gaming.
“This senior management appointment, along with Shane Thompson’s promotion to Director of Sales, corporate accounts, is in an effort to further deepen our ongoing commitment to casinos we serve.”
Konami’s latest update saw the gaming company’s partnership with Paraguay’s Slots del Sol Online, marking Konami's first online launch outside of the US and Canada.
