MGM Resorts International has appointed Keith Barr, former CEO of IHG Hotels & Resorts, to the company's Board of Directors, making Barr the 12th member of the Board.
Barr has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He was the CEO of IHG Hotels & Resorts between 2017 and 2023 and IHG's Chief Commercial Officer between 2013 and 2017. He also served on the World Travel and Tourism Council, British American Business Council and WiHTL; as well as an advisory leadership role at his alma mater, Cornell University.
Paul Salem, Chair of MGM Resorts' Board of Directors, said: “His (Barr) experience in hotel operations, technology, sales and marketing will be an incredible asset as he offers valuable guidance to MGM Resorts.”

MGM Resorts’ latest update saw the group signing a deal with Grupo Globo to launch a BetMGM branded platform in Brazil, estimated for early 2025.
