Intralot has extended two of its contracts through its regional subsidiaries and introduced several new services to the respective lottery operators.
The Netherlands
In the Netherlands, Intralot Benelux has extended its contract with Nederlandse Loterij Organisatie (NLO) until June 2027.
The deal will see Intralot continue to provide operations and management services to the retail sportsbook brand from NLO, called Toto.
Toto has over 4,000 retail access points across the country and is a primary sponsor for the Dutch football league, which is known as the Toto KNVB Beker.
NLO will also be supplied with the sports betting platform, Intralot Orion, which covers all sports betting events such as horseracing, greyhound racing, virtual and pre-recorded games.
Finally, the Intralot Photon terminals will provide trading and risk management services, as well and monitoring and performance tracking for Toto’s games.
Ireland
As for Ireland, the new contract signed with Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI) will run until November 2027.
This will allow Intralot Ireland to continue supporting the operator through its advanced central gaming system, which is integrated throughout the retail network of 4,300 Intralot terminals.
Intralot won’t just enable the operator through retail access points though, as the company will also extend its services to online customers on both web-based and mobile platforms too.
It seems like a busy time of year for the Intralot lottery division, as it confirmed in early June that it had successfully transitioned the British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s (BCLC) retail lottery system to the LotosX Omni ecosystem, a cloud-based technology platform.
This marked the BCLC as one of the first lotteries in the world to adopt a fully cloud-based system.
