Delaware North has announced the appointment of Jason Gregorec as the new President of its expanding gaming division.
Gregorec, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, will now oversee Delaware North's new gaming division, which has recently diversified beyond regional casinos into online sports betting and iGaming.
He joins Delaware North from Caesars Entertainment and Eldorado Resorts, where he served as SVP and General Manager. His extensive background also includes leadership roles at Jack Entertainment, Tropicana Entertainment and other major casino operations.
In his new role, Gregorec will be responsible for shaping the vision and strategy of the gaming portfolio, driving profitable growth and exploring new business opportunities.
His appointment comes at a crucial time as Delaware North expands its presence in the gaming sector – including its involvement in developing a major casino resort near Charlotte, North Carolina, for the Catawba Nation.
In taking the new role, Gregorec replaces Brian Hansberry, who will transition to the position of Group President of Gaming.
Commenting on Gregorec’s appointment, Amy Latimer, Delaware North's COO and EVP, stated: "Jason Gregorec is a great addition to Delaware North, bringing an extensive background and more than 30 years of experience with some of the world's leading gaming and hospitality companies.
"Jason will work closely with Brian Hansberry but also allow Brian to leverage his 40 years of senior-level leadership in the gaming industry to seek new opportunities for growth in the gaming sector."
In related news, Delaware North signed an agreement with Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI) earlier this year that sees QCI leveraging Delaware North’s data.
