In financial updates earlier this year, there was mention of Sands China renovating and rebranding one of its properties.

Now, an update has been reported in Macau news media, which announced Sands China’s collaboration with Marriott International to relaunch the rebranded Londoner Grand Hotel in Macau. The signed agreement would also debut The Luxury Collection brand to the Macau market, as Londoner Grand would debut under said brand collection.

According to media reports, Londoner Grand’s debut would be anticipated in 2025. The hotel was located at Macau’s Cotai strip, which also houses Sands’ casino-resort The Venetian Macau and Melco’s City of Dreams Macau.

“We are thrilled to work with Sands China Ltd to bring the first Luxury Collection Hotel to Macau, a destination that continues to attract travellers across the globe,” Gavin Yu, Chief Development Officer of Greater China, Marriott International said. “The highly anticipated hotel will blend Macao's East-meets-West culture with The Luxury Collection's distinctive perspective on luxury, providing our guests unparalleled access to a city rich with heritage, cuisine and captivating experiences.”

“We are excited to collaborate with the Luxury Group by Marriott International to bring the first Luxury Collection Hotel to Macau. Building on the success of The Londoner Macao, adding Londoner Grand, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Macau to its portfolio represents a pivotal moment in our mission to elevate Macau's luxury hospitality landscape.” Grant Chum, CEO and President of Sands China said. “Bespoke hospitality paired perfectly with a seamless mix of classic and contemporary design, the hotel will serve as a beacon of Macau's evolving identity as a world-class destination for the discerning global travellers.”

The Londoner Grand would feature 2,405 suites and a wide variety of restaurants.
