888Africa partners with SL Benfica for sports betting in Mozambique and Angola
SL Benfica, one of Portugal’s most successful football clubs, competes in the UEFA Champions League and Primeira Liga.
888Africa has signed a partnership with Portuguese football club SL Benfica to become its official sports betting and gaming partner in Mozambique and Angola.
Under the agreement, 888Africa’s 888bets brand will feature prominently at Benfica’s home matches at Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica.
Additionally, the partnership includes creating content tailored for football fans in these regions and launching competitions that offer prizes such as signed merchandise and match tickets.

Since its founding in 2022, 888Africa has been expanding, operating the 888bets and BetLion brands across several African countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This new agreement follows 888Africa’s previous collaboration with NE Group to launch the 888bets brand in Angola earlier this year, giving bettors access to sports betting services, including responsible gaming tools and games like Aviator.
