WA.Technology has received certification from Peru's gambling regulator, Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (MINCETUR), allowing it to expand in the country's growing gaming market.

With this approval, WA.Technology aims to bolster its presence in the Latin American (LatAm) region by bringing its iGaming platform and solutions to Peruvian operators.

The company offers a wide range of services through its WA.Platform, including solutions for sports betting, casino games, fantasy sports, lottery and affiliate programs.

Additionally, WA.Technology's lottery platform provides access to more than 70 international lottery formats, including major US games like Powerball and Megamillions.

Peruvian operators will also gain access to WA.Technology’s fantasy sports and Pick’Em Play Props products, which are intended to boost customer acquisition and retention.

Finally, the company’s WA.Affiliates vertical offers marketing and performance tracking tools to help operators attract new customers and boost traffic.

Commenting on the company’s entry into Peru, Axel Antillon, WA.Technology’s Regional Director for LatAm, stated: "Peru represents a significant opportunity for WA.Technology; we are very excited to be embarking on this new journey!

“The country’s growing appetite for gaming and entertainment-led experiences aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver LatAm’s best gaming products.

“By entering the Peruvian market, we’re able to support local operators in enhancing their player experience, improving operational efficiency, and ultimately, growing their business. We look forward to becoming a trusted partner to the region's operators as we establish a long-term presence here."

In related news, it was also announced last month that WA.Technology has acquired iGaming development company Onseo – a development that ultimately aims to offer clients faster turnaround times.
