BVGroup has announced that former NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady will serve as the Safer Gambling Ambassador for its BetVictor brand in Canada.
McGrady, known for his 16-year career in the NBA, including a season with the Toronto Raptors, will support the promotion of responsible gambling practices.
McGrady remains a popular figure in Canada, particularly in Toronto, where he played during the 1999-2000 NBA season. His involvement as Safer Gambling Ambassador aims to raise awareness of responsible betting behaviours among BetVictor's Canadian customers.
McGrady stated: “Safer gambling is an important issue across Canada and I look forward to helping to promote this message alongside BetVictor to encourage Canadian customers to bet and play safely and responsibly.”
Earlier in 2023, BetVictor expanded its partnerships in sports, including its role as the official betting partner for British boxer Joe Joyce during his rematch against Zhilei Zhang.
