Microgaming has released a new slot game this December branded with the legendary Edgar Rice Burroughs character Tarzan. The game is available to Microgaming and Quickfire operators.
Microgaming’s Tarzan is a 40-line game. It is also a hosted game, Tarzan has been recreated in 3D and stands on the left of the reels, which adds to the player experience.
Visually, the game is stunning. The environments in the game’s background have been hand-drawn for both the base and bonus game, and other visual elements including cascading waterfalls and glow worms add even more to the look of the base game. The base game and bonus game soundtracks, including the famous Tarzan “Jungle Yell”, were all created in-house at Microgaming.
But it is not purely visuals that make the new Tarzan slot stand out, the game play is also excellent. Stacked wilds, and high paying symbols stacked two high can create big wins for the player. The free spins mechanic combines two features, exploding winning symbols and stacked wilds which actually grow with every consecutive spin.
Other bonus features are accessed through a large bonus wheel, there is a jackpot on offer as well as instant cash prizes. A pick-a-potomus bonus round allows players to pick hippos that will reveal random cash prizes.
The game has been launched on desktop and mobile, and comes with free games and in-game achievements.
