Playtech expands partnership with Bar One Racing in multi-product deal

The partnership builds on a decade-long collaboration that has already established Playtech as the exclusive provider of self-service betting terminals across Bar One's retail estate.

Playtech has announced the extension of its longstanding partnership with Bar One Racing through a new multi-product agreement.

The four-year deal sees Playtech becoming the exclusive provider of Bar One’s digital sportsbook across the UK and Ireland, alongside the introduction of Playtech’s full casino and live casino suite to the operator’s offerings.

Building on over a decade of collaboration, Playtech will also continue to supply self-service betting terminals for Bar One’s retail estate. These terminals, coupled with Playtech’s sports betting software, aim to address the growing demand for digital experiences within retail betting shops.

Commenting on the partnership extension, Yori Arami, VP Sports Commercial at Playtech, stated: “Bar One has become a driving force in Ireland and we are excited to build on our successful partnership to help them grow further.

“Our software performance has made this ongoing partnership possible, and the new digital sportsbook and casino proposition further increases the collaboration between the two companies.

Good to know: This development comes at a time of growth for Bar One, which has recently completed an upgrade of its Irish retail locations

“We are set on progressing plans to provide a customer-centric roadmap for the years ahead, as we continue to develop new technologies aimed at improving and maximising performance in the digital and the retail space.”
