Dave Hickey promoted to Commercial Director at WA.Technology

WA.Technology has appointed a new Commerical Director, promoting its former Director of Sports Operations, Dave Hickey, to the role.
Hickey first joined the supplier in November 2022 and, in his short time with the company, has worked a number of leadership positions within sportsbook, commercial and managed services.
Following his promotion, the former Director of Sports Operations will be responsible for overseeing WA.Technology’s commercial strategy, focusing on revenue growth, navigating new partnerships and helping to create localised solutions for the supplier’s partners.
As Hickey looks to create new business opportunities, the markets of Africa, Brazil and Latin America in general are set to be some of his key focuses going forward.
Good to know: WA.Technology has received Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) certification, allowing it to operate in Brazil’s regulated iGaming market
Hickey himself said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking on the role of Commercial Director. I have had the pleasure of working with such a talented, innovative team, and I cannot wait to bring those insights to this new role as we forge new avenues for growth in 2025.
