The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) has announced the appointment of Suzy Neilan as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Neilan, who has 20 years of senior executive experience, is poised to lead the organisation through its next phase of transformation and modernisation.
Neilan has worked in the public and private sectors, with experience in regulation, customer service, and overseeing large-scale technology and legislative changes in highly regulated environments. Her previous roles include serving as the Executive Director of Strategy at the Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA). Neilan played a key role in advancing strategic initiatives and leading organisational change at EPA, including multiple stints as acting CEO during challenging transitions.
Before joining the EPA, Neilan held senior leadership roles in the Victorian public sector, including Executive Director at the Victorian Building Authority and General Manager at Tenix Solutions. She managed key regulatory and compliance functions, collaborating with government agencies and private contractors to enhance public sector outcomes.
