Key points

- Cloudbet has opened no-limit betting for five main Dota markets

- This will be live for the ESL One Raleigh and PGL Wallachia Season 4 tournaments

- These tournaments will also run on the updated 7.38c patch

Cloudbet, a crypto-based casino and sportsbook, has opened up no-limit betting for April's Dota tournament blitz.

Between the ESL One Raleigh on 7-13 April and PGL Wallachia Season 4 from 18-26 April, this marks one of the busiest seasons for the major esports title.

Many traditional sports already offer high or no-limits betting, but the esports scene has been slower to increase these parameters as it’s focused on strengthening its foothold in the industry.

A Cloudbet spokesperson said: "We're listening to all the feedback in our esports community about how to bring them closer to games all season long.

“And we're doing that with no-limit bets, and integrating many, many more markets. You can bet on which team gets first blood, first barracks, or first Roshan – markets that go beyond the basics but are core to the Dota experience.

“These are milestone events that make grown adults scream at their monitors, so why not cash in too?"

Good to know: Dota games feature 5v5 teams, comprised of different character abilities and powers, that are trying to destroy their opponents' home building on the other side of the map

The five main Dota markets that are available for no-limit betting include map handicaps, which are matches where the underdogs are given an advantage, as well as individual map winner, overall winner, total maps played in a series and the final map score.

Dota has also just updated to the 7.38c patch, which has seen significant changes to 50 of the characters and map layouts.
